Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a comfortable stay with clean rooms and friendly service. The location is convenient for various attractions, but dining options may not suit all tastes.
My stay at the hotel was quite nice overall. The rooms were really comfortable and clean, but unfortunately, mine overlooked the terrace where customers from the pub were enjoying the evening, so my plan for an early night was ruined. The service was pleasant, accommodating, and professional, and I particularly enjoyed the cooked breakfast. The location was fantastic, especially for visiting nearby attractions and enjoying the seaside views. The dining experience could have been better, as the cooked breakfast wasn't hot enough and lacked variety.
I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. The room was pleasant, spacious, and well-appointed with a very comfortable large bed and two easy chairs. However, there was a noticeable paint smell throughout my stay. The view overlooking Sandgate castle was lovely. The service was accommodating, professional, and the staff were helpful and great characters. The classic old style building seemed recently renovated, and the location was convenient for visiting relatives and strolling the seafront. The dining options were satisfactory, especially at a place called the Dog House which served an amazing breakfast. The hotel had assorted fruits available, and the facilities were adequate. However, I had to go up the high street to find a place for an evening meal, and the area for food places was a bit disappointing.
